Arno explains, "Every week Normec Groen Agro Control collects the samples from us. These samples are analyzed in the laboratory for e.g. soil and water composition. After the analysis we receive a clear report with the results. In this way we gain insight into the health of the crop, collect data and, if necessary, can take immediate action and make adjustments. For example, we use nutrient analysis to assess the level of nutrients in the soil or check soil and water for the presence of residues. Based on the results, we determine whether additional nutrition is needed or whether we need to adjust our feeding schedule. Fortunately, unexpected results are rare. Because we take and analyze samples weekly, we react quickly to small changes and know what adjustments are needed. This gives us insight into the crop and this results in a healthy and vigorous crop for the customer."

Because we are a nursery, we have to deliver plants that our customer can continue with without surprises. By examining which nutrients are already present in the substrate, we also make more efficient use of fertilizers."
