Water research in the food sector
Water used in food production in the Netherlands must meet the requirements of the Drinking Water Act and the Drinking Water Decree. As a producer you are obliged to demonstrate this. Normec samples your drinking water or process water for physicochemical and microbiological analyses (sterile sampling).

Water research in the agricultural sector
Good drinking water is essential for animal health and production. Because animals absorb large amounts of water, even a small contamination can have major consequences. We analyze drinking water for bacteriological and chemical parameters and also have extensive experience with sluice water analyses.
Sampling livestock drinking water
Normec is recognized for HOSOWO sampling of cattle drinking water by Kiwa VERIN. This accreditation is set up by the government and falls under the supervision of the competent regulatory authorities that oversee the quality and reliability of sampling in the agricultural sector.
This means that our sampling takes place according to established protocols and guidelines. Representativeness, care and independence are central to this. So you are assured of a correct and compliant execution of the sampling of your livestock drinking water.
Water research in greenhouse horticulture
In greenhouse horticulture, water quality is decisive for crop health and yield. Among other things, we carry out nutrient analyses and microbiological determinations and monitor water in heating and circulation systems to prevent damage due to corrosion or contamination.
