Why nutritional analysis is essential
The label of a food or feed contains a lot of information. Some of it is voluntary, such as nutrition or health claims. Other information is required by law, such as the nutritional composition or nutritional values of the product.
With a nutritional analysis, we determine which nutritional values are present and in what quantities. This ensures that your label is correct and that your product complies with current European legislation.
Different analysis methods
We perform nutritional analyses using different analytical methods. The results are used to determine conformity with European regulations, for example for labeling or marketability reports.
Depending on your product and application, we perform the following analyses, among others:
- BIG 4: moisture, ash, carbohydrates, energy value, protein, fat
- BIG 7: BIG 4 supplemented with dissolved sugars and sodium
- BIG 8: BIG 7 supplemented with dietary fiber
- Weende analysis (feed): moisture, crude ash, crude protein, crude fat and crude fiber
Together we determine which composition best suits your product and obligations.
