Thirty years of cooperation based on trust
Agra Service Nabuurs was founded in 1991 by Hans and Wilma Nabuurs and has grown into a solid family business with six trucks and four permanent employees. The cooperation between Agra Service Nabuurs and Normec Robalab has existed for more than 30 years. The basis of this cooperation is trust, flexibility and knowledge. This cooperation originated in the early 1990s when Hans Nabuurs got into a conversation with Iwan, co-founder of Normec Robalab. The obligation to sample manure was new and at Robalab it could be done close to home. So the lines of communication were short.
Trusted cooperation with room for growth
The takeover of Robalab by Normec did not change the collaboration. Despite a number of changes, the familiar feeling remained. The knowledge within Normec Robalab has only increased and customers of Agra Service Nabuurs benefit from that. Over the years, Wouter has taken over more and more tasks within the company and has also increasingly made his mark within the company. Wouter emphasizes the importance of periodic evaluation of collaborations. "Once in a while, it's good to review what's there and whether something can be adjusted in that," says Wouter. "But it's also good to realize that if something is in good shape, appreciate it and hold on to it! By looking at this critically, we noticed that the quality Normec Robalab delivers is always paramount."
"At the time, we didn't always have all the knowledge about forms and legislation," Wouter says. "A call to Normec Robalab was easily made and they did have all the knowledge in-house and were always helpful and supportive."
This created a good bond and trust in each other, which was later strengthened during a tougher period. "During the swine fever crisis suddenly everything was at a standstill and manure was no longer allowed to be driven," Wilma says. "It was a tough time and to keep our heads above water we had to change. On this we also started doing other transport and we still do that on top of it."

Samples are picked up daily from various customers by Normec Robalab, but of course we go for the personal touch. One of the conveniences Wouter experiences is that he can bring the samples to the lab himself. Personal contact is also incredibly important to Agra Service Nabuurs. "I can just drive by in my own time and schedule to take the samples away. Not everyone offers that flexibility. In addition, it's always nice to have a cup of coffee with the familiar faces behind the counter."
In addition to the familiar feeling, the measurements are accurate, fast, the reports clear and knowledge is on hand for any advice. This is important to provide the buyers of manure with the right information. "At Normec Robalab you have all the advantages of a committed and solid company with a great wealth of knowledge as a backbone," concludes Wouter.
