PFAS and food: an informative webinar

Since January 2023, new legislation is in force for the maximum amount of PFOS, PFOA, PFNA, PFHxS and the sum of these 4 PFAS in fish, shellfish, meat and eggs. During the webinar, our specialists from Normec Groen Agro Control told more about everything surrounding PFAS and food.

Recommendation 2022/1431 of the European Commission contains indicative values for milk, among other things. When these values are exceeded, you must be able to trace the source of the contamination. As an entrepreneur, it is important to prepare for this. For the milk sector, it is important to know what is in your end product and what its potential source is. That's why PFAS analyses of soil, water and packaging materials are also essential.
